Big organization, small clubs.
Inspired by the Lions, Rotary, and 4-H, PPP is built around small interest-based clubs where you actually get to know people. They're where friendships form, ideas spark, and community gets real.
How clubs work
A PPP club is just a group of members who get together regularly around a shared interest. Each club picks its own meeting schedule, runs its own thing, and stays loosely connected to PPP through monthly check-ins.
Some clubs are social. Some are service-oriented. Some are both. They're all part of what makes PPP feel like a community instead of just an organization.
What a club needs
- A leader (or two). Someone willing to organize meetings and rally the group.
- At least 3 members. Two's a friendship. Three's a club.
- A regular cadence. Monthly, quarterly, whatever fits, as long as it's consistent.
- Alignment with PPP's mission. Family-friendly, nonpartisan, community-minded.
That's it. PPP provides a place to advertise the club, a member directory to help you find your people, and occasional support for shared events.
What's forming right now
We're brand new, which means every club is still gathering members. Any of these could be the one you help launch.
Pfamilies with Kids
Playdate meetups at local parks, parent coffee mornings, kid-swap babysitting nights, school-year celebrations.
Lake Pflugerville Cleanup
Quarterly cleanup mornings around our namesake lake. Coffee, donuts, and gloves provided.
Monthly Lunch Club
Once a month, a different local restaurant. Show up, eat well, meet people. The lowest-commitment club we've got.
Walking & Running
Saturday morning meetups along the Lake Pflugerville trail. Pace groups for everyone. Strollers welcome.
Debate Club
Friendly structured debates on local, national, and big-picture topics. Sharpen your thinking, hear other views, leave as friends.
Weekly Breakfast
Early morning meetup at a local breakfast spot. Coffee, eggs, conversation, and you're out before the workday starts.
Under 40
Social events and conversations for younger Pflugerville residents finding their footing in town.
Tech & Business Networking
Connect with other Pflugerville professionals. Quarterly mixers and informal coffee meetups.
Small Business Owners
For Pflugerville small business owners to share, swap referrals, and tackle local challenges together.
Seniors
